Ana's Profile
Having spent much of her life studying abroad, she developed a truly expansive worldview specially in children’s education , Also involved in Macrobiotics and Yoga .
Travelling to many countries and living in USA, France, Indonesia, in Mexico and now in Japan. She has enjoyed working with children for the past 15 years. Even though she majored in Fashion.
Merchandising and later in Liberal Arts with a minor in Nutrition, her ballet background moved her into Pilates and Fitness Ball teachers trainings.
After a while she decided to take her Yoga more seriously and got a Yoga Kids teacher training, followed by an Ashtanga Yoga Teachers Training with Michael Gannon in Mexico City.
Since she moved to Japan, she has been studying Yoga with Basia J Lipska, Ken Harakuma, and Tarik Thami. Also she has spend 2 summers studying Yoga with different teachers in India and where she met Swami Satyananda Saraswati and began to teach “Yoga as Education For Children”.
She also studied Tabla and the Art of Rangoly in southern India. She has been taking Acroyoga work shops with Kyoko Jasper in Tokyo and continued to study and practice an acroyoga flow with Patrick Frapeau, a Yoga teacher and acrobatic dancer in Paris.
She also encounterd Ken Bokmu and learned her Korean Yoga and Yoga for Beauty in Japan. And. the essence of Zen and Wabi Sabi which are the themes of her coming book Wakata-Mente as a new vision for education in Latin America and for her workshops and her school Little OM.
